Ba Ria – Vung Tau house development Joint Stock Company (HODECO), one of the leading real estate investment and development companies in Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province, is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to join our team. As HODECO continues to grow and expand, we are looking for 01 Construction Engineer with the following job responsibilities and benefits:
I. Key Responsibilities
Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for construction and project execution works.
Extract and calculate quantities from feasibility study designs and construction drawing designs.
Collect quotations for construction materials and equipment to support project cost estimation activities.
Coordinate with relevant departments and stakeholders during project implementation.
Participate in meetings and work with appraisal consultants, contractors, partners, and other stakeholders as assigned.
Supervise construction activities and inspect completed works related to building construction, infrastructure, and transportation systems to ensure compliance with approved drawings and applicable construction standards.
Review and manage the progress and quality of design documents for construction, roadworks, grading, stormwater drainage, wastewater drainage, and related infrastructure works.
Collaborate with contractors to develop detailed construction schedules and monitor implementation against approved timelines.
Review and verify quality documentation and records for completed construction works.
Manage contractors and oversee on-site activities to ensure project quality, safety, and schedule requirements are achieved.
Prepare weekly reports and ad-hoc reports for Department Managers and Company Management.
Organize, supervise, and inspect construction works to ensure compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, safety regulations, project schedules, and quality standards.
Conduct inspections and acceptance procedures with relevant parties for technical work items in accordance with project requirements and company regulations.
Monitor, update, and report construction progress to the Project Manager on a regular basis.
Identify project risks and emerging issues promptly, report findings, and propose appropriate corrective actions and solutions.
Manage and maintain project documentation and records in accordance with company procedures and project requirements.
Coordinate with project stakeholders and proactively resolve issues arising at the construction site.
II. Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree (full-time program) in Civil and Industrial Construction, Construction Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related disciplines.
Age: From 25 to under 30 years old.
Preference will be given to graduates from reputable engineering universities such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, Open University, or equivalent institutions.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in construction supervision for building and infrastructure projects. Candidates holding a Construction Supervision Practice Certificate (Class III or above) are highly preferred.
Strong professional expertise in construction supervision, construction engineering, and building design.
Good understanding of construction materials, construction methodologies, Vietnamese Standards (TCVN), and applicable laws, regulations, and technical codes related to construction design and urban infrastructure development.
Proficient in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, MS Project and/or Primavera, Bac Nam Cost Estimation Software, and Revit.
Strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and professionalism, with a creative and innovative mindset. Enthusiastic, diligent, eager to learn, and committed to long-term career development.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, perform under pressure, maintain good physical health, and travel for business assignments when required.
