On May 24, 2017, at the Conference of BR- VT House Development Jsc, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of BR-VT House Development JSC held the third congress, the term of 2017 – 2019.
Mr. Vo Minh Giang – Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Mrs. Dau Thi Tham – Secretary of the Union of Enterprises and Mr. Doan Huu Thuan – Secretary of the Party Committee, Owner Chairman of the Board cum General Director of the company attended and directed the congress. Besides, the representatives of the Trade Union, the Women’s Union and the subordinates of the company as well as 32 youth union members of BR-VT House Development Joint Stock Company also attended the meeting.

The final report at the Congress confirmed that the Youth Union of BR-VT House Development Joint Stock Company had a strong development in form and quality in the 2014-2017 period. Ideological and political education has been focused and significantly contributed to the raising of the political awareness, ideological direction of the members and encouraged them to actively study,work and fulfill their tasks. Movements of revolutionary activities continue to be maintained and developed, promoting the role of unionists and creating favorable conditions for union members to dedicate, train and grow in the Youth Union. The delegation strengthened, the union strength improved and assured, affirmed the prestige and role of the Union, fulfilled the political task of the Union. 100% of the targets was completed in the Resolutions of the Congress 2014-2017.
However, activities of the Youth Union of BR-VT Housing Development Joint Stock Company (2014- 2017) still have some limitations such as: all members of the Executive Board are concurrently appointed, but timeline is limited, so some movements usually only stops at certain levels; financial work, budget of the Union are still limited, the Union must ask for support from the authorities and other organizations for every activity.
The Congress also defined the objectives, directions, targets, tasks and solutions of the term of 2017-2019 in the direction of improving the quality of the Union’s organization, promoting the role of its members, contributing to the development of HODECO and being forever worthy of the slogan: “HODECO – An ideally exquisite abode”.

Mr. Doan Huu Thuan – Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of the Board cum General Director of the Company and Mr. Dau Thi Tham – Secretary of the Business Unit of the Ba Ria – VT House Development Jsc required the Company in the period 2017 – 2019 to focus on implementing the following contents: to be fuller and deeper aware of the role and position of the Union in the new period, to focus and further improve the ideological and political education for unionists, to promote the movement of revolutionary action and the role of young people’s creative impulse, to take care to strengthen the organization and actively participate in building the Party.
The Congress elected five persons with enough political, qualities, capacity, prestige, enthusiasm and high responsibility to the Executive Committee for the term of 2017 – 2019. Among them, Mr. Doan Huu Vinh was elected as Secretary, Mr. Nguyen Quang Dat was elected as Deputy Secretary.
The Congress has also elected two persons as official delegates and one alternate delegate to attend the delegation of business units of BR-VT in the term of 2017-2022.
