On March 6, in Ho Chi Minh City, the “2026 Binh Ngo Spring Meeting of Entrepreneurs and Enterprises” program organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Ho Chi Minh City Branch (VCCI-HCM) took place with numerous meaningful activities aimed at connecting, seeking cooperation opportunities, and expanding the business network within the business community. Notably, the highlight was the announcement ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between VCCI-HCM (Branch 2) and the South Ho Chi Minh City Business Association (SHBA) as well as the Ho Chi Minh City Green Business Association (HGBA).
Attendees included Comrade Nguyen Hong Linh, Member of the Party Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission; Comrade Ho Sy Hung, Chairman of VCCI Vietnam; leaders of Ho Chi Minh City’s departments and agencies, and the business community of Ho Chi Minh City. The gathering program provided an opportunity for enterprises to meet, exchange, share information, review the past journey, affirm pride in achieved accomplishments, and simultaneously look towards the future with a spirit of innovation, creativity, and sustainable development.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Doan Huu Ha Vinh, Deputy General Director of HODECO, expressed enthusiasm regarding the profound attention of the Party and the Politburo through the issuance of Resolution 68 on private economic development. Mr. Vinh stated that this is the strongest affirmation of the role of the private economy as a crucial driving force for economic development. At the same time, it serves as a firm commitment enabling enterprises to access resources for innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable development through an equitable and transparent environment that upholds the rule of law. Consequently, enterprises are confident to reach new heights, accompanying authorities and associations to establish a harmonious legal framework between economic development and the preservation of a green environment.

Also on this occasion, representatives of SHBA and HGBA signed a cooperation agreement with VCCI-HCM to enhance connectivity, trade promotion, and drive sustainable development for the 2026 – 2030 period. The collaboration between VCCI and the SHBA and HGBA associations is expected to bring positive momentum, improving the competitiveness and modern corporate governance of enterprises in building a green, stable, and sustainable economy.
