On November 2, 2024, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Housing Development Joint Stock Company (HODECO) held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Eco Home 1 social housing apartment project at the Ecotown Phu My project in Phu MyTown. The project received its construction permit (No. 20/GPXD) from the Department of Construction on October 25, 2024, and is being invested by HODECO with a total investment of approximately VND 242 billion.

Eco Home 1 is located on Truong Chinh Street in Phu My Town. The project covers a floor area of 25,661.93 m² and includes one underground floor, 13 above-ground floors, and a rooftop, with a total of 340 apartments. Green spaces are distributed evenly throughout the project, ensuring that at least 20% of the land area is covered with greenery. The area between the building and the outside is separated by low bushes, which both enhance the green landscape and contribute to the harmony of the surroundings. Additionally, Eco Home 1 is connected to various amenities such as supermarkets, schools, healthcare centers, and the Thi Vai Mountain tourist area.
Once completed, the Eco Home 1 project will meet the housing needs of more than 1,000 residents living and working in Phu My Town. It will also contribute to the province of Ba Ria – Vung Tau’s goal of building at least 12,500 social housing units by 2030, in accordance with the Prime Minister’s directive.

At the ceremony, Mr. Doan Huu Ha Vinh, Deputy General Director of HODECO, emphasized that Eco Home 1 is being built with the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability. With its modern design, harmonious integration with nature, and a variety of internal amenities, HODECO aims to provide not just a place to live, but a vibrant, friendly community where residents can interact and grow together. The project is expected to be completed within 24 months of construction.
