On the afternoon of December 23, BR-VT House Development Joint Stock Company (HODECO) celebrated its 30th anniversary of establishment and received the First Class Labor Medal.

Mr. Pham Viet Thanh – Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Tran Van Tuan – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee together with the leaders, former leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Committee of BR-VT province attended the celebration.

Founded in 1990, HODECO was formerly a state-owned enterprise established under the Decision of the People’s Committee of Vung Tau – Con Dao Special Zone. Developing in the context of the country’s newly opened economy, in 2001, HODECO equitized with a charter capital of VND 20 billion. In 2007, HODECO was officially listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange with the stock code HDC. After nearly 20 years of equitization, up to now, HODECO’s charter capital has reached VND 665 billion, 33 times higher than 2001. Total output in 2019 reached VND 1,326 billion; increasing by 20% compared to the previous year. In 2020, HODECO marks a transformation with the capital increasing 2.5 times compared to the beginning of the year, reaching more than VND 2,100 billion. HODECO has provided to the market 30 projects and more than 6,000 real estate products, making its mark on the real estate market of BR-VT with many key projects. HODECO is continuing to implement large-scale projects such as The Light City (49 ha), Antares Complex Resort (19.5 ha), Phuoc Thang Urban Area (75 ha) … and constantly developing land fund for the coming phases.

In addition to production and business activities, HODECO has spent nearly VND 15 billion on charity activities for the community such as building houses of love, gratitude; donating funds to prevent floods and storms, nurture mothers of martyrs, martyrs’ families, hunger eradication and poverty alleviation fund and the program for poor studious students by the Provincial People’s Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front, the Labor Federation as well as other authorities.

At the Company’s 30th anniversary of establishment, HODECO was honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal awarded by the State President.
